Elizabeth Barnes

Hi everyone! I'm Coach Elizabeth- but most people call me Coach E! I am a proud New Bern native and recent graduate of NC State University. I've been playing volleyball since I was twelve, competing in indoor, club, grass, and beach volleyball. Over the years, I had the opportunity to compete in the 2019 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship in Indianapolis, help New Bern High School win a beach volleyball Conference Championship title, and play in countless AVP and USAV beach tournaments each summer. While at NC State, I had the privilege of serving as a student manager for the NC State Women's Volleyball Team under Coach Luka Slabe. That experience sparked my passion for coaching and I am very excited for this upcoming season with Carolina Vibe Volleyball Club. When I'm not on the court, you can find me creating wedding flowers, relaxing at the beach, or spending time with my family. I'm so excited to see what God has in store for this club and these athletes, and I'm so thankful to be a part of the Vibe Family!
