Kat Thompson

Hi everyone! I’m Coach Katherine, but most people call me Coach Kat!

I grew up in Kinston, North Carolina, where I was a proud South Lenoir Blue Devil. I played all four years of high school volleyball and also competed in travel volleyball for three years. Volleyball has been a huge part of my life since I was six years old, and last year I had the opportunity to play at Pitt Community College as a defensive specialist and outside hitter.

I am 19 years old and pursuing a degree in Business Law at Pitt Community College. My experiences as both a player and a student-athlete have fueled my passion for the game, and I’m excited to share that with the athletes of Carolina Vibe Volleyball Club this season.

When I’m not on the court, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on my favorite teams. I can’t wait to see what this season holds and I’m so thankful to be part of the Vibe family!
